Champions Flattrack School News.
Our indoor project is making progress, with a lot of work done to the surface over the last couple of weeks. We’re waiting for contractors to come in and extend the building and are hoping that will be completed by end Feb. During the next couple weeks we’ll getting the place painted out, and are looking at putting in sprinkler system as well. After that it will possibly be another month before we can open the doors and we can’t wait….
Once we get the Indoors up and running we will be looking at doing open practice sessions once a week on Mini bikes, we may be able to extend that to 450’s but until we can test out the track we’re not sure.
The outdoor track dates are beginning to get booked up and we’re getting a few group bookings. We can put extra days on for group bookings with 6 or more riders if you want to get in touch.
We have added a Level 2 date, for riders who have done Level 1 or are riding in the Rookie Class at DTRA.
We also now have dates for the Level 3 course, on which we will be mainly running 450 machines. The course is designed for all riders who are racing in the DTRA Championship (or any other Flattrack Championship), using transponders for lap times and go pros for on board footage, all to to give you accurate feedback on your progress. This course will be running at the new Greenfield track, on the 1/4 mile Oval and TT track.
